I started this blog to share some of my favorite photographs from many years as an amature hobby photographer.  I’m still learning how to do this blog, so I hope visitors will be patient.

My inspiration for photographs comes from places I’ve traveled with my husband throughout the Pacific Northwest, California, and Canada as well as flowers and trees, wildlife, and pets.  Sometimes for fun, I practice telephoto and macro photography by taking still-life photographs of flower arrangements on my dining room table.

Occassionally it’s fun to do little “experiments” such as creating impressionistic effects by shaking or quickly moving the camera while clicking the picture.  Being a lover of the full moon, I like to try taking pictures only with the light of the full moon and no flash.

On occassion, even slugs have found their way into my viewfinder!

I hope you will enjoy your visit to my blog!
