We had a spectacular view of the Blue Supermoon in Portland, Oregon. I took this photo in the parking lot of the Tualatin Hills Nataure Park with my 600 mm telephoto lens at 6:30 pm PST on January 30, 2018. The moon was so bright that I had to combine two photos in Photoshop to make this photo. I used one set of settings to capture the details of the clouds in one photo. I used another set of settings to capture the details of the moon in another photo. Then I cut the moon from the second photo and pasted it over the overly bright moon in the photo with the cloud details. Unfortunately we did not get to view the blood moon the following morning because it was cloudy.
